- THE CONFERENCE:
- ICCE '93 is to provide a forum for scientific interchange among computer
- scientists, educators, and cognitive scientists through-out the world,
- especially from the Asia-Pacific region, on a broad spectrum of
- inter-disciplinary research topics, focusing on the theory and technologies
- of applying computers in education. Also, it is hoped that the conference
- can intrigue the topic of the impact on designing educational software due
- to the difference in culture and philosophy of education between Asia and
- the West. There will be tutorials and invited talks on the state of the
- art of the area, and demonstrations of working systems, prototypes, and
- selected commercial products.

- SUBMISSION:
- Authors are requested to submit manuscripts (in English) of no more than
- 5000 words describing original results of their research work. Papers
- should be double-spaced and printed with high quality printers using type
- style of 11-point or larger. Each copy of the paper should have a cover
- page containing the title of the paper, names and addresses of the authors,
- e-mail of one author who is responsible for all correspondence (unless
- specified otherwise, correspondence will be directed to the first author
- listed), a list of at least five keywords, and an abstract of no more
- than 200 words. Five copies of each paper should be sent with a cover
- letter by airmail to the Secretary of the conference (alternatively,
- submission can be through e-mail, but must be in LaTeX format).
