- I know this, that's why I said "USA only companies".

-
- Of course not. Wang is in the same boat as Sun, DEC, IBM, HP, Kodak
- and probably a whole bunch of others I don't know about in Aus.
-
- EDU is a simpler case -- I assume there are no (or very few) Uni's
- or equivalent which span national boundaries. But there would need
- to be separate COM. and COM.US. if this reorganisation were to happen.
-
- And GOV should theoretically be used by the UN (or whatever else claims
- to be a World Government) rather than being monopolised by the USA.

-
- The COM. and ORG. should (if we could redesign the name space) be
- reserved for international organisations. As for Mars, Luna, etc,
- I don't see why they can't be allocated an ISO Country code (or more
- than one if they have multiple governments) and treated the same as
- an island (say AU). I guess there could also be a SP. domain for
- things "in space" if there are ever enough that don't belong in
- nasa.gov or whatever.su et al.
