  13. I don't get deep into sendmail often, so this question puzzles me,
  14. and I don't have any decent documentation in my office.

  16. What I have repeatedly bitten myself with would be solved if sendmail
  17. iterated alias lookup. A brief example:

  19. STAFF   john,fred
  20. ...
  21. john    johnh@somewhere

  23. This just DOESN'T seem to work, I get complaints that john doesn't
  24. exist when I mail to STAFF. You see, I was SO used to mailing to 
  25. john (NOT johnh@somewhere) that I just used 'john' when I added
  26. STAFF. Gets me every time.

  28. Version 5.65 of sendmail (it's HP-UX 8.0).
