  28. Depending on modem, there is probably and s-register for this.  My USR
  29. modems, for example, let you put in the number of minutes of idle time
  30. that you want and it will disconnect after that amount of time.

  32. Alternatively, you can get untamo (ask archie for location) and it will
  33. automatically logout users who exceed a certain idle time (it can do many
  34. other things, supposedly--I don't use it myself).
