  14. This is probably an FAQ, and I am sure I read somewhere how to do this easily,
  15. but I thought I'd ask anyway ....

  17. I have an Internet style mailing setup with minimal mods to sendmail.cf and
  18. using the MX version of sendmail under SunOs 4.1.2.

  20. I don't have uucp set up, and whenever mail inadvertantly gets directed to
  21. a uucp style address I get the following sort of thing ...

  25. 554 site!name... Service unavailable

  27. This is not surprising, reading throught the rules in sendmail.cf.

  29. Now I gather that if I could make sendmail forward all such messages to a
  30. site that can do uucp stuff, eg. munnari.oz.au, by mapping the address to
  31. something like "site!name@uucp.munnari.oz.au" then I am set.

  33. I presume there is a "standard" way to do this with the sendmail.cf that is
  34. supplied by Sun ... I am loathe to go hacking at it myself in an uninformed
  35. fashion !
