I have just began to operate under my new id in another state, and I am
attempting to set up a new file for my newsgroups that I follow. Upon
trying to invoke nn (and also rn), I found that 1000 newsgroups have been
added into my initial .newsrc file, which I am told contains those groups which I wish to follow. My question is, how do I get these groups out of my file, and
purge it of them, and then add the ones that I want to read? Is it possible to
erase, and then recreate the file, and is there a better way then using
Unsubscribe on the groups, one at a time?
Please mail copies of replies to my reader, as I obviously have a hard time
