- Setlocale is for the NLS stuff. If you don't need the 'locale' stuff, and
- your vendor has merged setlocale in with a bunch of stuff that is not compatible
- together, then just change the configure output to set d_locale to undef.

- Another alternative is to force the system to search the -lc library before the
- -lposix library, so the normal stuff comes out of -lc.
