  12. When one is emailed a folder where each item starts with a "From "
  13. header line, these lines get prefixed with a ">".
  14. To make such a folder readable again by Elm, the ">"s need to be
  15. removed.  Is there a utility available for this?
  16. If not, what is the *EXACT* command to give to "vi" in order to
  17. remove those ">"s?  Of course *ONLY* on those header lines; I'll
  18. accept any such occurances in the contents of the items (though
  19. not really gracefully...).

  21. A propos, where in the whole email chain does this ">" get prefixed
  22. to the "From " lines, and is there any way to get that software to
  23. "keep its mits" out of the contents of email items?
