  18. You don't say what format your metric files are.  If they are standard
  19. Adobe Font Metric (AFM) files then all the characters in the font will
  20. have their font metrics following the "StartCharMetrics" tag.  Any
  21. "composed" characters metrics can be derived from the information
  22. following the "StartComposites" tag.
