- Is there any way to translate a postscript file into a standard fax format ?
- I would like to transmit fax messages by using an internal fax/modem board
- on a msdos computer. Messages are composed in LaTeX, converted into postscript
- by dvips, and may include graphics (e.g., EPS files, via psfig or epsf
- packages).
- At present, the only way I figured out is to use ghostscript to translate the
- postscript file into PCX, which is one of the formats my fax software
- recognizes (others are TIFF and IMG, aparts form ASCII).
- I understand that ghostscript should be able to drive fax devices, but
- this feature seems to be lacked by the MSDOS version.
- Any hint is greatly appreciated.
