  22. When embedded in a perl script, you are absolutely right.  But from the
  23. command line, the `find ... | xargs ...' metaphor is easier to type than
  24. the equivalent "perl -e '...'" statement.  I probably should have made
  25. the distinction clear in my earlier message.
