- Dear BP7-users,
- could somebody provide me with answers to following questions:
-
- 1. Does BP7 have a [386] compiler switch (like [286] in TP6)?
- In other words, what longint arithmetics does it use?
-
- 2. Is there 8-byte integer arithmetics (say, using comp type)? In
- principle, it could be organized exactly in the same way like longint
- arithmetics was done in TP3..6.
-
- 3. Does the built-in assembler now "understand" extended registers?
- The one in TP6 definitely didn't.
-
- I want to know the answers to decide whether to buy BP7 or not.
-
- PS: Can somebody help me with the most recent version of P.Tattam's news
- program for DOS. I know its freeware, but something is wrong with my FTP, so
- all my attempts to FTP somewhere out of university network failed. My
- version (1.04 or like) uses TVision (I like it!), but produces a lot of
- problems. Other programs for PC are also welcomed. UUENCODE'd e-mail to my
- address would be a nice X-mas present!
-
- Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to everybody!!
-
- Yours,
-
