-
- About: Linking seperate module into a program while it is already running.
-
- The exact problem is something like this: We are writing (as part of a
- project) a multi-tasking operating-process control system on an IBM clone,
- using TOPSPEED Modula II. The configuration is a Master-Slave one e.g.
- one computer operating at a remote site, connected to the master thru a
- modem link. We have the possibility to send thru any file across the
- comms link, and would like to be able to compile additional modules on
- the master, send them thru, and use them as a part of the main, which
- should be able to call on them as if they were 'ordinary' PROCEDURES. I
- have some experience doing this (in C, on an AMIGA), but as I am somewhat
- out of territory on the IBM, I haven't got the faintest where to start
- looking for additional info (additional to the little that is written in
- the manual I have).
-
- Has anyone out there tried this before ? Did it work ? How did you do it ?
- Please send any info to my EMAIL- Address, not to the newsgroup. I will digest
- the information, compile it and send a complete how-to-do to anyone who asks
- once I have figured it out.
