  28.  I got some string stuff from the above board. One was by G T
  29.  Hawkins, but I don't the ZIP name. There is also some string
  30.  stack stuff by Ron Briathwaite called STRING.ZIP and STRING2.ZIP.
  31.  It has what you are looking for in MID, LEFT, RIGHT. You could
  32.  also try the RCFB (Real Time Control Forth Board (look for a --
  33.  jax-- tagline for the number). I tried to meta compile the stuff
  34.  into FPC 3.55 but never got it to work, and I could not figure
  35.  out how to fix it. I just don't know forth well enough to debug
  36.  it.
