- To me it is a situation similar to all the MS-DOS C (or C++)
- programming books. There are seemingly dozens of books with
- names like _Advanced C_, _Advanced C Programming, _Programming
- in C for MS-DOS_. None of these books contains anything new; none
- of them takes a differing approach to the presentation of material.

- Computer technology changes, but through all the fads, programming
- is still basically the same as it was twenty-five years ago and it
- is still a very difficult task. Much of the progress since then has
- been directed toward disguising this inherent difficulty.
