- I have started using Borland C++ a couple of months ago. I am
- now thinking of porting some of my programs to UNIX. We have
- here an old version of GNU C++ (version 2 preliminary) which does not
- support templates.
-
- I have a few questions:
-
- 1. Is 2.3.1 the latest version of GNU C++? Does it support
- templates?
-
- 2. Are the classes provided by libg++ usefull? Is the documentation
- clear enough to quickly learn how to use it?
-
- 3. From your personal experience, would you recommend GNU C++ or would you
- advise to use another compiler and pay for it?
-
- Any comments would be very appreciated. Please respond via E-mail.
- Happy holidays to everyone.
-
- Charles.
