  23. Support Technology Forum Between Industry, Academia and
  24. Government Engineers"

  27. Primary objective of TFWGCON 93 is to provide a forum between
  28. industry, academia and government representatives to exchange
  29. information, and to exhibit technologies along the Sub Working Group
  30. (SWG) technical themes of: Instrumentation (data collection)
  31. systems; Threat generators/simulators; Data analysis systems;
  32. Embedded software (tools and environments); Facility design and
  33. documentation; and Testing methods and processes. Conference will
  34. include tutorials, presentations, papers,panels, exhibits and
  35. demonstrations by government and industry participants.

  38. Normal Test Facility Working Group (TFWG) and SWG meetings are
  39. government only, and held semi-annually at DOD avionics test
  40. facilities.  However, this "biennial" TFWGCON is open (unclassified/
  41. limited) to the avionics and mission-critical system test community
  42. of the US and Canada at large.

  45.                         POSTER  PAPERS
  46.       
  47. Unclassified and non-proprietary papers, 10 pages or less (typed,
  48. single-sided, 12-pt, single spaced) will be considered for
  49. acceptance in the following categories:
  50.  
  51. Instrumentation (data collection) systems
  52. Threat generators/simulators
  53. Data analysis systems
  54. Embedded software (tools and environments) 
  55. Facility design and documentation 
  56. Testing methods and processes. 
  57.  
  58. Accepted papers will be published as part of the Meeting Record. 
  59. Published papers will not be available for public release.  Authors
  60. will be given a block of time during TFWGCON to represent and defend
  61. their paper at review booths. Awards will be presented for the best
  62. papers.  Please submit single page abstracts and short biographical
  63. sketch by 3 FEB 93 to the following address:

  72. Speakers are invited to provide presentations on TFWGCON technical
  73. themes at the SWG or general assembly levels. Presentations should
  74. be no more than 30 minutes, plus a 5-10 minute question and answer
  75. period.
