- I'm not sure if I know what you mean by "the explorer windows", but the
- display independent resources can be found in
- /usr/explorer/lib/X11/app-defaults
- while the display dependent resources are in
- /usr/explorer/lib/X11/app-defaults/sgi-color*

- Search for Geometry resources in the Explorer resource file.

- Also (although I wouldn't recommend it), you can do things like :
- Render*Geometry: 350x350-10-10
- with the obvious meanings. All control panels can be placed this way.

- Perhaps your system admin hasn't installed Explorer correctly, so that
- the necessary fonts are not found. Check to see if the link from
- /usr/lib/X11/app-defaults/sgi-color* to
- /usr/explorer/lib/X11/app-defaults/sgi-color*

- exists. If not, then that is probably the cause of your problem.
