  20.    Since most of Explorer is a Xt based program, it'll obey the normal
  21.    Xt resource convention.  So, a good place to start is in the directory
  22.  
  23.     /usr/lib/X11/app-defaults/sgi-color1280  ( for 19" monitors )
  24.                                   sgi-color1024  ( for 16" monitors )
  25.  
  26.    and check out the obivious files ( Explorer, Mbuilder, Dscribe ).  The
  27.    primary resource that you're interested in ( I'm guessing ) is the
  28.    'Geometry' resource.  If you look in any of those files, you'll see
  29.    familiar names with that resource.  The format of that resource is
  30.  
  31.     <application>*Geometry : <width>x<height>[+-]<xoffset>[+-]<yoffset>

  33.    Put a line like that in your .Xdefaults ( filling in the appropriate
  34.    numbers ) and you should be all set.
