- I teach at an arts college in downtown Chicago called Columbia College. I
- think that we arguably have the best undergraduate computer graphics program in
- the country. U of I might have 20 Personal Irises that they teach some classes
- on but can you major in computer graphics? You can at Colombia. We've got 4
- or 5 Personal Irises and we just received 2 Indigo workstations. We use TDI
- software. We've also got a Mac lab with 9 or 10 Macs and an Amiga lab with 20
- or so Amigas. In addition, we have a Targa lab with 5 or 6 machines in there
- running Lumena, Crystal and others. As far as video goes, we have 2 Toasters,
- S-VHS editing, Betacam editing soon, and I've heard we're also getting an
- optical disc video recorder for animation. We've got all these toys fairly
- recently so we haven't been able to kick out a Siggraph quality piece yet but
- watch for one soon. If you want to come by for a visit, let me know.
