  28. Well, after receiving messages and looking around, it seems that no such
  29. package esists in source code form, suitable for our UNIX environment.  I
  30. think the only way out is to hack gnuplot to add this functionality.
  31. Version 3.2 does have support for data given in *polar coordinates* but
  32. no support for plotting in a *polar diagram*, only in an orthogonal
  33. 2D or 3D space.
