- Hello to all the IBM platform based raytracers out there...
-
- I've recently decided to get a little more ambitious with my raytracing
- endeavours. I'm talking about creation of DXF's (via DesignCAD 3D) and
- their incorporation into filename.POV's. This is due in part to the
- VENUS.POV/INC I got from The Graphics Alternative BBS and several DXF
- sample files from ExecPC.
-
- I have DXF2RAW, Sandpaper v.3 and, of course, DAT2POV. Although they do
- work, I find the tedious editing to be a major pain.
-
- ■ Anyone aware of a "one step" process from DXF to POV ?
-
- ■ I've sent my registration money for PV3D (which is got to be the major
- suprise of the last month) and have been playing with Shawn Britton's
- WINTrace (rough demo... lots of promise). Are there any other modelers out
- there (save 3DS) that I should be taking a look at ?
-
- Any assistance, comments, advice, etc. will be most gratefully received.
-
- Thanks, in advance...
