  12. Hello to all the IBM platform based raytracers out there...

  14. I've recently decided to get a little more ambitious with my raytracing 
  15. endeavours. I'm talking about creation of DXF's (via DesignCAD 3D) and 
  16. their incorporation into filename.POV's. This is due in part to the 
  17. VENUS.POV/INC I got from The Graphics Alternative BBS and several DXF 
  18. sample files from ExecPC.
  19.  
  20. I have DXF2RAW, Sandpaper v.3 and, of course, DAT2POV. Although they do 
  21. work, I find the tedious editing to be a major pain.

  23. ■ Anyone aware of a "one step" process from DXF to POV ?

  25. ■ I've sent my registration money for PV3D (which is got to be the major 
  26. suprise of the last month) and have been playing with Shawn Britton's 
  27. WINTrace (rough demo... lots of promise). Are there any other modelers out 
  28. there (save 3DS) that I should be taking a look at ?
