- Ok ... how about seen but forgotten? I have read a book on holograms recently
- which showed examples of computer generated holos. One was a pyramid, barely
- recognisable but there. I can't remember the name of the book but it was a
- fairly low level guide. I think (but don't quote me) that the picture came from
- the M.I.T.
- The book said that computer generation was very crude, partly because of the
- definition required to reproduce the effect (ie down to the wavelength of
- light), and partly because of the as yet imperfect software.
- The book was written around 1990 so I assume things have changed since.
