  13. MacroMind Three-D is one such package.  It meets all the requirements
  14. you mentioned.  If you look into it, be sure to evaluate version 1.2
  15. or later.

  17. One caveat:  Three-D is an animation package designed to be used as
  18. part of a suite of production software, so its modeling capabilities
  19. are limited.  It can generate block text from TrueType fonts, it has a
  20. selection of simple solids, and it can import 3D objects from a variety
  21. of modelers.
