- hi all,
-
- I have recently started to look for C sources
- related to 2D graphics, eg related to graph drawing,
- scattered plot, use of control buttons, dialog boxes,
- slide-bar etc.
- My target is to build a more personal armament of
- graghics toolkit so they can be used with ease. For building
- in near future, some scientific easy-to-use simulation,
- graphing, etc programs.
-
- Initially I hope the source can be very portable,
- eg the level of portability that's offered by gnuplot.
- But as ibm-pc is one of the platforms that I want my programs to
- run, this ibm-pc<=>unix cross platform requirement may be too
- much to ask for.
-
- I have tried turbo c++, doing graphics with bgi is reasonably
- easy, do you have any suggestions as whether I can stick to
- turbo-c's bgi libraries? And for rather static 2D graphs, is the
- speed that's offered by bgi is sufficient?
-
- Any pointer to free-ware, share-ware sources will be appreciated.
- Or any good books with source-disk. More good turbo-c graphic src.
-
- Thanks in advance. (have read faq, those nice books have read)
