- The Eurographics UK Conference is returning to York for its
- 10th Anniversary celebrations. York was the venue for the
- first conference of the UK chapter of Eurographics. The
- conference will give participants the opportunity to hear
- about latest advances in the field and to meet with
- colleagues in this area. Opportunities for informal
- discussions will be facilitated by the social events at the
- Castle Museum in the Tuesday and during the Conference
- Dinner on the Wednesday.

- The conference begins with a day of tutorials relating to
- the conference themes. The second and third days will be
- devoted to papers from invited speakers and those accepted
- by the programme committee which have been submitted for
- consideration. There will also be an exhibition.

- Papers on any aspect of computer graphics are welcome. These
- may present research work or may be related to applications
- of computer graphics or to support issues.

- A full paper must be submitted by the deadline which is 1st
- December 1992. The papers will be refereed for their
- suitability for inclusion in Computer Graphics Forum which
- is the journal of Eurographics. Following the conference,
- accepted papers will be published in Computer Graphics Forum
- as well as in the Conference Proceedings. Each paper
- accepted will entitle the speaker to a single days
- registration at the conference irrespective of the number of
- authors.

- appropriate for publication. This is an opportunity to
- describe an application that makes interesting or novel use
- of computer graphics, or to report the early stages of a

- 1992. We will however encourage you to expand this further
- for publication in the conference proceedings. Each paper
- accepted will entitle the authors(s) to a single person-day

- All contributions will be reviewed by an international
- programme Committee. These can be either full technical
- papers (8-15 A4 pages) or can be position papers (2-4 A4
- pages) which might describe ongoing project work, national
- initiatives or report on related visualization events.
- Accepted papers will be included in the pre-printed workshop
- proceedings and invitations issued to authors of accepted
- papers to present their paper during the meeting.
- Invitations to submit revised versions for a book will
- depend on the quality of the contributions.

- LOCATION AND ORGANIZATION
- The meeting will be held at The Cosener's House, Abingdon,
- Oxfordshire, UK, a conference centre owned by Rutherford
- Appleton Laboratory (RAL). The Workshop is an activity of
- the Eurographics Working Group on Visualization in
- Scientific Computing, and is organised jointly by RAL and
- the Numerical Algorithms Group Ltd. The co-chairs are Julian
- Gallop (RAL, UK) and Michel Grave (ONERA, France). The
- meeting fee including two nights accomodation costs is
- expected to be approximately 260 UK pounds for Eurographics
- members and 310 UK pounds for non-Eurographics members.

- exchange of experiences and knowledge between people
