  22. Some people (Graham Toal, if I remember well) did get very high
  23. resolution (3000 DPI) CM bitmaps and then outlined them into Type *3*
  24. format, without any hinting.

  26. You can find these fonts in a number of places (look fro something
  27. called 'cmps'), and then you have to find a Type 3 renderer, or convert
  28. them to Type 1 and add hints.
