- This is actually a feature ... emacs only makes a backup file once every
- time you visit the file. So if you want to make multiple backups, you
- have to either go out and back in before it'll create another backup file,
- or you have to delete the buffer and load it again. Next time you save, it
- will create another backup file.

- The reason for this is that you don't get too many backup files, which
- I've found very useful.

- If you specifically want to create a backup file each time, there is always
- 'write-file-hooks' where I suppose you could modify save-buffer in files.el.
