- Most likely the VMS system does not know what kind of terminal you
- have (are emulating) on the Sun. TELNET does not usually pass this
- information on startup. A SET TERMINAL/INQUIRE might work (in your
- LOGIN.COM, but check with your system manager, it may already be in
- the system wide SYLOGIN.COM). If this fails, you can
- SET TERMINAL/DEVICE=VT200. EDT has to know what kind of terminal
- you are using, or it will fall back to line mode on the assumption
- you may have a hardcopy type.
