  36. A solution that I recommend to some of my clients is to: (1) order
  37. selective class of call screening from the LEC (this is toll
  38. restriction with 0+ and no 10XXX), (2) Contact an IXC that offers
  39. toll-restriction, forced authorization code validation, and commission
  40. on 0+ calls, (3) have your line PICed to the carrier found in step 2,
  41. and (4) order collect and third party block.

  43. Under this scenario, your transient guests can place calls (on which
  44. you make commission), you are protected from toll charges, and the
  45. owner/authorized persons can make calls at direct dial rates by using
  46. their authorization code.
