  24. All I can remember was arriving in SoCal at around 7PM and turning on
  25. the TV and seeing scene after scene of Bay Area destruction. And when
  26. I found out the those scenes were 50 miles from the epicenter (and my
  27. own home was ten miles out) I got very worried. Not being able to get
  28. through to neighbors was the most distressing thing to happen to me
  29. all that week :-) And I also remember that getting through to a
  30. neighbor (using Sprint) was a great relief.

  32. BTW, some AT&T tech called yesterday to tell me that the blocking that
  33. I experienced on Christmas Day was the result of my local telco, not
  34. AT&T. Yeah, right. And just whose recording is "408-2T"?
