- I had problems where my Telebit worldblazer would not work properly
- at 14,400 bps. I eventually tracked the problem down to high
- frequency attenuation on my line causing group delay problems.
- Some detective work tracked the culprit down to a Uniden two line
- phone. Unplugging the two line phone made the problem go away. My
- loaction is wired with common D station wire (spiral twisted
- R-G-B-Y in vinyl jacket) with two pairs going to all the wall
- jacks.
-
- I didn't pursue the issue any further than to determine the problem
- was the telephone instrument rather than the wiring. I just wanted
- to pass along to the group that that problems might not be in the
- wiring.
-
- Wishing a happy new year...
