  22. Well, I have a USR Sportster 14,440 PC/fax and the thing is generally
  23. rock solid.  I connect to Prodigy at 9600, CompuServe at 9600, Sun 4/UNIX
  24. machines at 14,400, numerous BBS's at 14,400 and in all cases on the first
  25. try.  I use the supplied XTALK Communicator 2.0 software extensively, and its
  26. a real joy.  I use Procomm+/Windows in Windows 3.1 at 14,400 with no problems.

  28. My only negative complaint is the supplied FAX software, Blast Fax PC, is
  29. a little off the mark.

  31. Oh yeah, I paid $ 369 at Fry's Electronics.  It's installed internal
  32. to a Gateway 2000, 486DX2 50 at com2.  I wanted to use com4, but the
  33. video card, ATI ultra graphics used the com4 address.  It's a big board
  34. and would not fit in most of the slots because it flopped onto the
  35. memory chips.
