  25. Faximum is not "required" software.  It's simply the only Unix package that
  26. Telebit has been able to adequately test, and therefore the only package
  27. that Telebit promises will work.

  29. Other packages that support the same command set (I don't have the number
  30. of the document at home) should work also.  It's just that Telebit doesn't
  31. know at this point which ones will and which ones won't.
