  24. It would appear, from the bit of testing that we have done, is that the model
  25. number, last EPROM version used, the user profiles, and (possibly) the serial
  26. number are all stored in the same chip:  an EEPROM (electronically erasible)
  27. located near the DTE jack on the PCB.  We're in the process of decyphering
  28. it's contents and will post regarding any findings.
