- I have a PPI pocket modem for my laptop which failed after about six months.
- These are "lifetime warranteed", so I sent it back, and they sent me a new
- one in a reasonable timeframe.

- HOWEVER, there is a *charge* for warranty repairs -- I think it was $25 for
- the pocket modem, which is 25% of what I paid for it. The "lifetime warranty"
- claim should be taken with a grain of salt...
