- I am going to be writing an article on getting started with a
- high-speed modem. This is going to be aimed at fairly
- non-sophisticated users, and will be a collection of tips. For
- example, one of the things I plan to cover is that high-speed modems
- generally take longer to connect than slower modems because it takes
- more time for them to negotiate the link with the modem on the other
- end.

- to include, please e-mail them to me. I'll post a summary of the
- responses, or if the publisher is willing, I'll post the entire
- article to the net.
