- I'm both out of date and spoiled; the dumb serial cards I know are older
- designs from DigiBoard and ARNET, and they required only 8-bit slots. It's
- nice to hear that you can now use them on the higher interrupts.

- I figured that, if 16-bit dumb serial cards existed, they wouldn't be of
- the normal variety used for DOS applications. Still, I haven't actually seen
- any of these; the 16-bit multi I/O cards I know of are 16 bits wide because of
- IDE adapters, and still don't offer access to the high interrupts for the
- serial ports.
