  16. need some help/info,

  18. there is a group of students who are determined to get internet
  19. to kenya ( yes, next door to somalia ). they have managed a 286
  20. running public domain software on the kenya end and another one
  21. here in the us. the goal is to connet the two via modems<-> phone
  22. and initially do dial-up.

  24. the problem becomes, they need institutions like schools, churches
  25. etc to be able to connect to the kenya hub, and this is where they
  26. are looking for help: there are NO modems. they need even 1200 baud
  27. modems, if you have any, they can put it into a very good use you
  28. will be proud of, like a university. also, would appreciate info
  29. on where cheap modems can be gotten.
