  11. I am unable to send faxes successfully with WinFax Lite and a Digicom
  12. Scout+ under Windows 3.0 and a Gateway 386sx.  When a connection is
  13. made, a status window indicates that the cover page is being sent,
  14. then a "100% complete" display appears.  A few seconds later, the
  15. modem shuts down, and the SendLog file shows
  16.

  23. The person at the receiving end gets only the header of the cover page
  24. - - no names or phone numbers.  Digicom tech support suggested that I
  25. had an interrupt conflict with COM2 (I have a mouse on COM1, and have
  26. disabled a second Gateway COM2 port), but I can run other Windows
  27. application software to connect to my office workstation without any
  28. trouble.

  30. I've since discovered that I can RECEIVE a FAX under WinFax Lite, and
  31. I can SEND a FAX under DOSFax Lite, but the modem apparently thinks
  32. there is no connection when it tries to send inside Windows.
