- hello...
-
- I am not sure if this is the right newsgroup to send this
- to so please direct to the right one if this isn't it. We have
- a WP Office async bridge with an Intel 14.4ex modem. We had
- the software configured to communicate at 19200 and when someone tried
- sending something at 9600, our modem didn't/couldn't (?) step down
- to the other ends baud rate.
-
- Anyway, we reconfigured our software for 9600 and it seems to work fine.
- Now, I called WP support and they said that it is possible to have
- the gateway at 19200 and that I need a modem setup string to allow for the
- slower bauds. My question is: has anyone who is/has using/used WP Office
- have theirs configured for 19200 bps? If so, are you using a modem setup
- string and what is it?
-
- Please respond directly to me at: hibanez@wam.umd.edu
-
-
- Thanks.
