  28. Just a hunch...you might be overloading the line....Go around and add up the
  29. load numbers for the phones...if you go over 100, that might explain the
  30. problem.  I can't say for sure how bad it is...though I have the same problem
  31. with two of my lines, and on one line I have over 200 for load number.  Dropped
  32. it down by restricting myself to one modem per phone line.  Of course having
  33. to get two more phone lines (and loaning one of the modems out) wasn't cheap.

  35. I also had to chuck the answering machine.  My problem with line (audible)
  36. noise went away....haven't noticed any disconnects when the other line rings
  37. lately, but I'm less likely to be connected out when the other line rings
  38. now.  I'm more inclined to be calling out on one of the newer lines.
