  13.     My server will reboot quickly if I checkpoint all my databases
  14. before I shutdown.  A checkpoint only takes one second and avoids
  15. several minutes of recovery time.

  17.     I try to checkpoint my databases often, others on this list have
  18. warned against doing it too often.  I don't know why.
