  24. I have not used the product itself, but I know someone who helped to write it,
  25. and he said that "It corrupted every database we tried it on."  This was for
  26. the beta version; it may (or may not) have been fixed since then.

  41. I had the fortune (?) to work for this company for a total of two (2) days, 
  42. but did not continue because of contractual disagreements.  This may somewhat
  43. bias my opinion against them, so take that into account.

  45. I found their development practices to be somewhat less than ideal.  Several
  46. people I know in the Sybase community have voiced the opinion that their 
  47. software is not very good, and that they tend to "gamma test" their "production"
  48. releases.  (In other words, the software is released containing known fatal
  49. bugs).

  51. I do know that their "business" office is a rented condo.  Not that that should
  52. be held against them, by any means.
