  13. I'm trying to use Ingres 6.4 on an IBM RS6000 w/ AIX 3.2, working from
  14. an IBM X-Station 120.
  15. Somehow, we don't seem to have any AIX-specific Ingres documentation.
  16. We're not an Ingres-house, obviously, just a 3rd party s/w developer
  17. trying to interface with a variety of DBMS's, including Ingres.

  19. PROBLEM:
  20. When I start a normal aixterm, my TERM environment variable is automagically
  21. set to "aixterm-m".  Ingres forms don't recognize that.
  22.  
  23. If I then set  TERM_INGRES to "aixterm", I can actually start accessdb and use
  24. the function keys, except that some of the things I want to do are mapped to
  25. keys F13-F15, which don't exist on my keyboard.  Besides that, the graphics
  26. characters show up as garbage characters instead of lines.  I can work around
  27. the first problem easily enough by using the Menu key and the first letter of
  28. the thing I want to do, but it's still a nuisance.  The second problem is a
  29. nuisance, as well.

  32. Can anyone tell me what I need to do to use Ingres Forms from an IBM X-Station
  33. in a way that Ingres Forms really likes?  Is there such a thing?
