  10.     We're running Informix Turbo 3.5 here and we discovered a
  11. process that leaves an open transaction for an extreemly long time.
  12. (It's a Print Job manager that sleeps when there's nothing to do.)
  13.  
  14.     The question is:  Are there any know side effects of the open
  15. transaction even if nothing has been done in the transaction?
