  29. You are taking my comments out of context.  I am not saying that 4GL
  30. is perfect and cannot be improved.  There have been many good suggestions
  31. in this newsgroup on how the language can be improved, including the
  32. ones you made.  But Informix-4GL is a programming language.  I was
  33. simply reacting to an article that demanded that it be something
  34. else.  (e.g. a forms generator like SQL*Forms)   I like having a tool
  35. that is a true programming language.  It provides the flexibility
  36. essential for complex business applications which, IMHO, SQL*Forms does
  37. not.
