- You are taking my comments out of context. I am not saying that 4GL
- is perfect and cannot be improved. There have been many good suggestions
- in this newsgroup on how the language can be improved, including the
- ones you made. But Informix-4GL is a programming language. I was
- simply reacting to an article that demanded that it be something
- else. (e.g. a forms generator like SQL*Forms) I like having a tool
- that is a true programming language. It provides the flexibility
- essential for complex business applications which, IMHO, SQL*Forms does
- not.
