  28. Progress runs under just about any UNIX, DOS, BTOS, and bunches of 
  29. other systems (including A/UX on Macintoshes). It is a very nice database,
  30. with a beautiful 4GL and full SQL dialects.

  32. It has wonderful transaction capabilities, and a very good crash recovery
  33. system. In most respects, it is quite comparable to Oracle.
