  13. I just logged off the PKWARE BBS where I read a message dated 23 Dec 92
  14. that repeated that the new PKZIP was in final beta, but then added that
  15. PKWARE expected to start shipping the week of 4 Jan 93.  This is the smallest
  16. gap between the message date and the estimated shipping date that I've
  17. seen, so I'm inclined to believe it -- especially since the gap is almost
  18. completely taken up by days that most of us (and them?) will be on vacation.
