-
- I wonder if the double quotes (or lack of them) truly are the problem. It
- may be a bit more esoteric:
-
- I had double quotes around my newsdir specification earlier today. But
- then I added Mathew's EXPIRE program to my Waffle and found that it was
- not compatible with the double quotes, so I removed them.
-
- I then became fearful that my HellDiver wouldn't work, since I had read
- the above message earlier in the day. So I fired it up. I'm in HellDiver
- now (Win 3.1), and my /system/usenet file does NOT have the double quotes
- around the newsdir specification. Waffle still seems to work okay (1.65).
-
- FYI, I have HellDiver use the JOIN file, so I can read from Waffle and
- still have an updated scan the next time I run HellDiver.
